School Descaling Problem & Solution
Problem: The custodians at our school are complaining about having a tough time getting everything cleaned at night because of hard water. Soap scum is everywhere. We need to help these guys out. Also, since we're a public school, anything we use has to be very, very environmentally friendly.
Solution: FFT's DeScaler will eliminate the scaling build-up on tile walls, floors, plumbing fixtures and make surfaces like new. The amount of calcium, magnesium, and other metals in your water is what's causing scaling, and that's where we can help. Your custodial staff will be able to get more done in less time, wasting less soap and effort.
You may have been tempted to waste money on those "magic descaling chemicals" sold by big box stores. They can run you over $100 per gallon. FFT's DeScaler will save time and money. After applications, you will have back the full diameter of your sewer pipe.
We are writing the descaling SOP now. We are going to recommend that a sewer pipe with heavy Struvite build-up be treated with Z06-2 for one to two weeks to remove all FOG build-up first. Then the pipe will be flooded with DeScaler, left in pipe to soak as long as possible. After repeated treatments, the treated sewer pipe will need to be re-treated with Z06-2 to neutralize and remove DeScaler residue.
As for your environmental concerns, FFT is definitely the right call. All our products are 100% nontoxic, organic, and biodegradable. FFT sales reps are ready to visit your facility, show you and your staff how to apply DeScaler Struvite Remover and Z06-2, and aid you in choosing the right equipment for your unique waste water situation.
